MARIETTA - Nearly 100 young ladies competed for six beauty titles and two talent titles in the 19th Annual Little Miss Cobb County Pageant on Feb. 6 at the Joe Mack Wilson Theatre at Southern Polytechnic University. The representatives will be seen across the county special events and parades during the coming year.

Miss Cobb County 2010 Casy Walker served as the mistress of ceremonies. Miss Cobb County's Outstanding Teen, Tara Lynn Steele, assisted with the staging and awards ceremonies after each pageant.

The talent routines included all types of dance from jazz to lyrical to tap to Bollywood. Vocal selections ranged from Broadway favorites to hit songs of Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.

Sponsored by the Miss Cobb County Scholarship Pageant, the pageant is a fundraiser for the Miss Cobb County scholarship fund. The beauty winners will be special guests at the Miss Cobb Pageant in August and the talent winners will perform on the show.
