KENNESAW - The Embassy Suites Atlanta-Kennesaw Town Center opened its doors Jan. 21 as the first Design Option III prototype in Georgia. The new property is the seventh Embassy Suites in the Atlanta area.

The 192-suite hotel has nearly 7,000-square feet of meeting space. The property also houses a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

The hotel's environmentally friendly Design Option III build requires less land and construction costs and is therefore more appealing to developers.

The property was constructed by Holder Construction and designed by Richard Rauh & Associates. Dr. Gerald Sapp represents both the hotel ownership, Town Park Hotel, LLC, of Tifton, and management company, GS Hospitality, LLC, of Atlanta. The property marks the first Embassy Suites for GS Hospitality, adding to a portfolio that already includes other Hilton Worldwide brands.
