Barry Edward Camp, 56 of Acworth died Monday, January 25, 2010. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Dean Hunter and Dr. Bill Ross officiating. Mr. Camp was born and raised in Marietta. He attended Marietta City Schools, Kennesaw College and Reinhardt College. Barry was employed by Southern Ice Cream Specialties a Division of Kroger in Marietta. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Grogan Camp of Acworth; daughter, Jennifer Dawn Camp of Columbus; mother, Virginia J. Camp of Marietta; two brothers, Jimmy Camp of Avondale Estates and Stan Camp & his wife, Susan of Hampton. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Barry to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory in Marietta.
