Bart Brooks, 47, of Marietta died Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with John McGriff and Trey Tankersley officiating. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Kennesaw. Mr. Brooks was a loyal, loving husband, son and friend. He was a true Renaissance Man. He showed a lot of care for family, friends, and animals. He enjoyed people and life. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Brooks of Marietta; his mother and father, Gordon and Jane Brooks of Kennesaw; his faithful canine companion, Jack. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Sugar Cakes in Marietta Square.
