I have known you since you were eight, as you were my best friend's little brother.
In the years that followed, you and I came to be somewhat closer. I have very fond memories of the times we spent, be them at Lee and Kim's wedding, and many things prior and since.
I will always remember the times you stopped by to see me occasionally down in the Buckhead hood, whence we drowned a few sud bubbles, and remembered the old days in the neighborhood.
Soon thereafter, you married and moved north for a time, but I have never forgotten those prior days, as we had some truly great times.
I don't know exactly which demons finally got to you, as am I quite sure many of them have been after me, as well, but I am truly sorry they got to you first.
Having attended your viewing tonight, all I am able to do is pray for you, your family, and the friends you rather rudely left behind.
I love you like a brother, but that will never completely reconcile what you did to your family and those who cared so much for you.
