Tired of tedious stories about school board

DEAR EDITOR:

The Cobb County School System is one of the best in Georgia and ranks high nationally. But anyone with children moving into the metro Atlanta area who reads the MDJ a week or two would shun our schools.

I am weary of the tedious events, which have nothing to do with learning, getting play over and over again in the MDJ. The newspaper immoderately targets certain board members, mixed with insignificant lapses to the learning process.

The fact still remains the function of school is to teach, and I have heard no complaints about that. It makes me wonder if you need to fill space in the newspaper, and anything that brings about antagonism will do.

Ms. Poteet, please learn to write in complete and coherent sentences before you lecture the newspaper (or anyone else) about the greatness of the Cobb County School Board.
