The Joy Group from Sharon Road Baptist Church enjoyed some pre-Christmas fun the weekend of Nov. 28. The seniors group traveled to Nashville, Tenn., where they stayed at the Opryland Hotel. While visiting they attended shows at the Grand Old Opry, including the Rockettes, toured Nashville and attended church on Sunday at New Vision Baptist Church.

Among the attendees were Joy Group Leader Mike Freeman, Sue and Russell Butterberg, Johnnie Cannon, Dot Cash, Betty and Frank Crane, Janell Echols, Jo Francis, Christine Harris, Estelle Henson, Edna McCall, Sue McElmore, Holly Pair, Ronnie Smith and Betty Sweatman.

The Osborne Class of '58 Lunch Bunch conducted their annual Christmas luncheon at the beautifully decorated home of Jim and Anna Laurel (Mathis) Womack.

Attendees included: Joe and Virginia (Anderson) Struck, Charles and Marjorie (Cole) Koonce, Gerri (Carter) Smith, Betty Gene and Gerald Kelly, Sandra Greer McBride, David and Lorene (Holder) Pitman, Roy and Elsie (Pace) Neal, Donald and Pat (Langford) Wilson, Barbara and Robert Norton, Martha (Burnett) Pritchard.
