Mrs. Marilyn Royal Murray, age 64 of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Dr. Steve Kimmel officiating. Burial will be in the Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Born on December 26, 1944 in Ft. McClellan, AL to Clarence Royal and Mary Sue Smith Royal. Mrs. Murray was a graduate of Campbell High School. She retired from Publix Grocery Store and was a member of the Vinings First Baptist Church. Surviving are husband, Walt Murray of Marietta; son, Mike Williams of Canton; daughter & son-in-law, Page & Mike Berse of Raleigh, NC; mother, Mary Sue Royal of Marietta; brothers, Billy Joe Royal of Morehead City, NC and Jack Royal of Dallas; sister, Christine Buffington of Marietta; grandchildren, Amanda Williams and Raven Berse; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna.

I am so sorry to hear of Marilyn passing. I will miss her & the phone talks we had. She was a very special person to me & many others. I will always remember her in my heart. My sympathy to her Family. Thanks to her Mother for contacting me. All my prayers & love. Love you Marilyn.
