I had a class taught by Dr. Beggs in the summer of 1973. It concerned elite rule in politics and it was also at the same time as the Watergate hearings. This was the best class I ever experienced in my 4 year drive to a diploma. He was quite an inspiration and was quite successful in opening my eyes to the ways of the world when it came to politics. My condolences to the family and know that he was a light in my life.

We were members of the same Kiwanis Club.

He was a gentleman who was always kind to me.
