Thomas "Tommy" M. Powell, 63, of Kennesaw died Wednesday, December 09, 2009. Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Clyde Wade officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Powell was a life long resident of Marietta where he attended Marietta High School. He worked for Manley and Adams Auto Parts and Marietta Fruit Company Restaurant in Marietta. His hobbies included motorcycles and video taping. He was of Baptist faith. Survivors include two sisters, Betty Jo and Richard Foster of Benson, AZ, Barbara and Jimmy Russell of Marietta; two brothers, Charles and Jackie Powell of Marietta, Douglas and Edna Powell of Jasper, GA; two sisters-in-law, Betty and Charlotte Powell of Marietta; loving nieces and nephews.
