For too many of our fellow Cobb Countians, this holiday season will not be a time of joy and celebration.
With the painful recession and 10 percent unemployment rate, plus the devastating south Cobb floods of September, the needs of many of our friends and neighbors has never been greater.
Here at the MDJ we have partnered with the Center for Family Resources to help local families with needs and who face a bleak Christmas season. We hope that you will consider a personal gift this year to the Center for Family Resources, your clergy's discretionary fund, or one of the many worthwhile and caring charities that make Cobb a generous and special place to call home.
