It boggles the mind how some people insist on trying to defend the indefensible! What is their problem? What part of "illegal" do they not understand? How in the name of common sense and reasonably-rational intelligence do these defenders of illegal immigration reconcile their patently-absurd arguments with the simple truth? Do they really believe that individuals who crossed our borders illegally, who avail themselves generously of our social benefits, who make up a significant percentage of our crime statistics and who violate our laws virtually every day (e.g., driving with no license and without insurance) have some sort of claim on the bounty of this country? Allow me to assist them in understanding four basic truths:
* The United States has immigration laws which require that anyone entering our country comply with certain basic rules, having the proper authorization to do so being paramount among these;
* If people enter this country without complying with these basic rules, they have committed at least one illegal act - hence the term "illegal";
* No amount of clever semantics can alter the fact that "illegal alien" correctly and legally defines the millions who have violated our laws by entering this country illegally; "undocumented immigrants" and other exotic terminology in vogue by apologists and politically-correct delusionals has no bearing on their actual status as "illegal aliens."
* If they have given birth while in this country illegally, a convoluted interpretation of our Constitution confers citizenship on their offspring; however, having a child who is arguably a "citizen" doesn't confer on the parent(s) any special status. If they were illegal aliens to begin with, they are illegal aliens still, and when deported, whatever inconvenience or heartbreak they might suffer because of their offspring's murky status has been brought about by their willful disregard of our laws.
I sincerely hope the foregoing has clarified for many the actual status - and its ramifications - of those who thumb their noses at our laws and then try so brazenly to apply convoluted logic in order to change the immutable truth: "illegal aliens" they are; "illegal aliens" they remain.

One can tell from what camp one comes by reading these blogs. Bleeding hearts..you have almost run out of other peoples money, at least that given freely. You'll have to take it by force soon.
See you on the battlefield!
I'm Proud to live in COBB County, where the LAW is Enforced with the 287-G program...and now GWINNETT has started the 287-G Program as well. DeKalb County is looking into it, so pretty soon the Illegals aren't gonna be welcome in most of the Metro Atlanta area! They better start selling their pickups...because if they get caught, it's Good Bye Unites States...hello to wherever they snunk in from!
Now, them that don't like the Way the Law is Enforced in Georgia, they may take I-20 WEST until they get to I-35, and then go SOUTH....they'll get back to where they belong!
You know nothing about me; I know far too much about you based on your bigoted rants. You are solely focused on a single issue; I enjoy debating a a variety of issue. You seem to hate with a passion that is frightening; I help as many as possible, through charity and service to my community.
Please get some help so you can be a happy and productive member of society.
I have never suggested that our country doesn't have enemies. I'm not deluded, however, into dreaming them up.
Born right here, and love my country. I do, however, throw up a little in my mouth when people like you address me.
The reason LaRaza and the rest of those groups do not support aiding in their own country because they can't make a living off the backs of illegals if they stay put.
Your comment:
"They made Mexico and Guatemala poor and now they are bankrupting our country."
So, does this mean that you would have supported greater foreign aid to help fight poverty in these countries?
