Mary Ellen Cottone, 79, of Marietta, GA, passed away November 13, 2009. A native of Maryland, Mary Ellen lived many years in South Florida before spending the last 30 years of her life in Marietta. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Joseph and Minnie Eva Mullin and a son, Charles J. Cottone. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Robert Cottone, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Andrea Cottone of Destin, FL, Joseph R. Cottone, Jr. of Marietta, John M. and Christina Cottone of Acworth, and Anthony J. and Joanna Cottone of Roswell; daughter, Mildred E. Jordan of Cumming; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Cottone of Boca Raton, FL; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Liz Mullin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A funeral service will be Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 4 o'clock in the chapel at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill. The family will receive friends from 2 o'clock until the time of service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Rd, NE, Marietta, GA 30068.
