Mr. Thomas Edward "Ed" Craycraft, age 93, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009. Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Mr. Craycraft will lie in state at the church from 3:00 pm until the service. Interment will be at Owingsville Cemetery in Owingsville, KY. A native of Bath County, KY, Mr. Craycraft had lived in Marietta for the past 5 years. He was a retired post office clerk and was also a veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Charles W. Gross of Marietta; sister, Louise Craycraft Manley of Salt Lake, KY; 2 grandchildren, Sherri Gross of Marietta, GA and Bob Gross and wife Jenne of Beavercreek, OH, and 2 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Kassie Gross of Beavercreek, OH.
