Bunny McDonald, age 87, of Gahanna, Ohio, formerly of Smyrna, GA passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009. She was born May 17, 1922 in DeLand, FL to the late Herbert and Edith Smith; also preceded in death by husband, Norman H. McDonald, brother, Billy Smith and sisters, Christine Johnson and Courtney Settle. Bunny was a graduate of Stetson University and was active Pi Beta Phi Alumni Assn. She was a member of Stonybrook United Methodist Church and especially enjoyed her fellowship time with the Agape Circle. She is survived by her children, Melanie (Dan) Kover of Ohio and Norman McDonald of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Heather (Courtney) Wydra and Charles (Jena) McDonald; great-grandchild, Brett Wydra and brother, Herbert Smith. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7pm Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Stonybrook UMC, 485 Cherry Bottom Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where visitation will begin at 6pm; Rev. Tom Wilson, officiating. Additional services will be held at Faith United Methodist Church in Smyrna, GA at a later date; Interment Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta, GA.
