They don't call themselves Wiser Wealth Management for nothing. The local wealth management company for many Marietta families creates a sense of community for women who have experienced loss in their lives.

Once a quarter, WWM, located at 127 Church Street, Suite 360, conducts a luncheon for female clients at the Swan Coach House in Atlanta. The group meets Casey Smith, President of WWM, in the parking lot at First Baptist Church of Marietta. Smith personally provides transportation to the ladies who no longer drive.

"About three years ago I had a client that was having a hard time adjusting to the loss of her husband, and I was looking for a way to get her mind off the loss for maybe just a day," said Smith.

The luncheons provide an avenue for support of client groups with similar situations or interests, explained Kyle Waller, Research Analyst at WWM, and "a way for WWM to show our genuine care for those who have chosen to be our clients and be served by us and trust the advice we give."

"We are getting to know our widow clients better and bringing a day of joy to some that live each day with a little sorrow and loneliness," added Smith.

"I really do care about not only my financial fiduciary responsibility but also about quality of life that these ladies live," he explained.

Many of the women have friends in common and really have a wonderful time, said Waller. "For us, this is an important role we play as a wealth management firm, helping families in all stages manage their assets wisely and give them advice, support and direction in many of the most important times of their lives."

The heart behind the luncheon is not about the business, but about the clients and guests, and showing them that we genuinely care and desire to serve them, said Waller. "It's special for us."
