Martha B. Raines, age 87 of Dallas, formerly of Marietta, died Friday, September 25, 2009. Funeral services will 3:00PM Sunday, September 27, 2009 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Revs' Curtis Turner and John Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Raines was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and worked for Cobb County Water System for 33 years before retiring. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Samuel W. Raines, Sr. Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law- Samuel "Buddy" and Karen Raines of Dallas; Sister- Cleo Cowart of Roswell; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Sunday.

Karen and Buddy, I just read about Martha's passing and want all of you to know we will keep you in our prayers. Please let us hear from you.

We never get to old that we don't need our mothers.
