Time to start over

DEAR EDITOR:

President Obama is our president. He was elected by Americans, blacks, whites, Democrats, independents, and dare I say some Republicans. He pledged hope, change, and unity.

Referring to any opinionated American as a liar is polarizing. Telling the American public to "stop bickering, stop playing games" is condescending. Many of the same honest, intelligent, hard working Americans that put him into office do not agree with his health care reform bill. That is not to say that reform is not needed.

President Obama must respect the American Voice, return to the drawing board, and try again.

...ram this health care bill right down to the belly-aching tummies of the whining right wing, since we have the majority position now, achieved through VALID elections (and with an assist from the hideously incompetent GW Bush). The right wing spent 8 years ruining this country with uni-partisanship and now they're gonna get a good taste of it themselves...and unlike the Iraq fiasco, if you hot headed right wingers don't like it, then boycott health care for the next few years regardless of how sick you get.

Pedro becomes even more delusional in his analysis of national politics. Still stuck in the 'Bush lied' ditch, eh Pedro? And the racism thing is oh so desperate and weak.

Now now, Indian Joe, Obama wasn't elected for being black. He was elected because the Republicans first committed suicide under Bush and then ran Pooh Bear and Barbie because they knew they were going to lose so why waste a good candidate? If you want to point fingers for Obama's election, point them at the Republicans for dropping out.

One does have to wonder why nobody was ballsy enough to "You Lie" at any of George W Bush's lies about Iraq and WMD?

It was all far more blatant lies than Obama's health care lies: "This is a truck. rrr. rrr. It is proof of WMD."

There is no bill as of yet, so there is no proof at all that Obama lies. You can only assume he is lying. Bush, though, the IAEA had said "They's no WMD in Iraq" repeatedly. There was proof of Bush's lies, but Wilson kept himself under control. Now why is that, do you suppose?

I'll tell you why.. It's because he's a racist! Bush was white, Wilson was white, so Wilson let the lies slide. Who didn't let the lies slide? Well known racist Cynthia McKinney. She was not white, so she called Bush on his lies.

So there you go. Two out of two times, it does indeed look pretty racist when nut jobs call out a president on his lies.

Does no one understand that Obama does not run the country. He has neither the experience nor the ability to do so. This is why he has appointed all of those czars as "advisors". They, the unelected, unvetted, unquestioned people are the power in this administration, evenusurping the powers of the secretaries of those departments. He is in deed an empty suit who was propelled into office because of his oratory abilities, and yes, his race, as the first black president (even though he is half white), because people didn't watn to be called racist. He is a total figurehead. His duties have been taken over by the czars, Pelosi and Reid. After all, how do you get experience by spending your entire adult life working for one government programor another, where there is no need for budgets (just ask for more), belt tightening, or real world decision making.

It would appear Ms. Dennis is suffering from a deep and severe case of voter's remorse. I guess that hope and change thing isn't working out real well for her. Too bad she didn't see through the Obama facade before the election. Some of us did see the great big empty suit with an invisible resume (and vanishing educational credentials). Yes, it is time to start over, but King Narcissist doesn't understand that. Our first opportunity will be in 2010 when we can make him a lame duck in his first term -- that is unless new Czar Cass Sunstein attempts to dissolve Congress first.
