Mrs. Shirley Holt Pickelsimer, age 61 of Smyrna, passed away, Friday, September 4, 2009. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday September 12, 2009 at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Reverend Cecil Dutton officiating. Burial will be in the Northcutt Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay Ga. Mrs. Pickelsimer was a Cobb Co. resident for 45 years and a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Smyrna. She was employed by the Naval Air Station Atlanta Officers Club until her retirement. She was preceded in death by parents, J.N. and Marie Holt and brothers, Mack and Jack Holt. Surviving are husband, Henry Grady Pickelsimer Jr. of Smyrna; son & daughter-in-law, Bryan Edward and Kathy Bittle of Smyrna; grandchildren, Scarlett and Ryan Bittle and Sam Helton; friend, Raymond Bittle of Smyrna. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday and Friday at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna.
