Gingrey for health reform

DEAR EDITOR:

Your Tuesday headline, "Gingrey says 'no' to healthcare reform" was very misleading and untrue. U.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Marietta) does not support H.R. 3200. He does support reforming our current system and has co-sponsored H.R. 3400 with Rep. Tom Price.

Like Dr. Gingrey, I support enhancing and modifying our current system. And, like Dr. Gingrey and Dr. Price, I support health care reform, just not the way the Democratic Party wants to do it.

It is mighty hard o vote on a bill that can't even make it out of committee. Minority, if you kept up with the news - other tan manstream media, you would know that the republicans have not been able to even get anything out of committee, new bills, amendments, not a thing. So I guess you propose they just blindly follow the messiah and his minions in whatever "they" feel is best for the Aerican people. You know you can be for reform wthout trashing the entire system curetnly in place and replace it with a goverment run, government controlld, government paid for plan.

Right, he supports the bill that wasn't introduced. The one no one has voted on. The one no one can vote on because it was never put forward.

But he's "for" reform.
