Paul Anderson, a 33-year resident of North Landing Subdivision, celebrated his 80th birthday on Aug. 24. Anderson, known as the "Mayor" around the neighborhood, has enjoyed Budweiser beer for 60 years. Also lovingly known as the "Bud Man," having named his dog "Bud the Wiser," was feted with - what else - a Budweiser and barbecue birthday bash on Aug 22.

The party was hosted by Paul's daughters, Karen Folds and Kristi Summers. Paul's wife of 56 years, Marilyn Anderson, attended along with longtime neighbors and good friends, including Diane and John Blair, Dick Knipfer and his son Matt Knipfer, Eileen and Rick Korb, Debbie and Roger Patterson and Terry and Johnny Tumlin. The celebration was at the neighborhood clubhouse.

"When you say 'Bud,' you've said it all.
