While tasting dishes prepared by participating restaurants, including Taverna Fiorentina, Gabriel's, Ray's on the River, Shilling's on the Square and Fusco's Via Roma, patrons will have the chance of a lifetime when bidding on fabulous auction items. There's a trip to San Francisco with various wine tasting tours, a limited edition painting by celebrated American artist Steve Penley, or a unique South Carolina weekend on board a yacht, among other things.
"With 20 years of success under our belt, the Cobb Signature Chefs event, is truly a great community tradition," said Debra Johnson, who chairs the event along with her husband, Fitz Johnson, "I have often heard this event referred to as 'the fun charity event' and I couldn't agree more." Other committee members include: Gannon Gingrey-Manning, Vanessa and Thomas Arvid, Kathy and Bill Scott and Mary Ansley and James Southerland.
Marietta Neonatology will be on hand during the evening to explain how participation in Signature Chefs Auction makes a difference in the lives of families they see on a day to day basis from all walks of life, by helping mothers through full-term pregnancies and to have healthy babies.
Signature Chef s Auction benefiting the March of Dimes is a way for Cobb to help all babies be born healthy.
