Mary E. Ellison, 80, of Kennesaw, passed away Monday, August 24. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27 at 2pm from the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. Ken Wilbur officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw. Ms. Ellison was a lifelong resident of Cobb County and was a member of Kennesaw United Methodist Church. During her working career she was employed as a Bus Driver with Cobb County Board of Education. After her retirement she helped her daughter at Flowers West Florist in Acworth. Survivors include son, Tony Ellison of Kennesaw; daughter, Shirley Cook of Kennesaw; granddaughter, Laura Ellison of Kennesaw. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, 5pm - 8pm at the Funeral Home.
