Q. What is the E-edition?

A. A digital replica of the MDJ print edition. Every story. Every photo. Every ad. Every day. The E-edition can be found on the right side of the homepage.

Q. What is the difference between the new internet site that is will continue to be free and the new E-edition?

A. The new E-edition will include the entire newspaper and will look just like the print edition. You will be able to read it much like the print edition on your computer one page at a time. The E-edition will be complimentary until Sept. 23, 2009. Then subscriptions will be available for $65 a year. Subscribers to the print edition of the MDJ will receive the E-edition and MDJonline content at no additional charge. Non-subscribers can still access select content at MDJonline.

Q. What is the MDJonline daily content digest?

A. The content digest is a daily e-mail from MDJonline with a selection of stories on topics you request.

Q. How can I receive the MDJonline daily content digest?

A. On the MDJonline home page, click on the "Get Email Updates" icon the top right corner. You must register and enter the topics you wish to receive. A daily content digest will be e-mailed to your account each morning.

Q. Do I have to register to comment on a news story or editorial?

A. During the first 30 days, you will not be required to register. Comments are not edited and do not necessarily represent the views of the MDJ. Comments are reviewed before they are posted. After 30 days, you must register to post comments on the Web site.

Q. How do I post a Cobb community event?

A. Go to Cobb Community Calendar on the right side of the MDJonline home page. Click on "post an event." You must first register as a user and you are then free to post your community events. We encourage readers and organizations to take advantage of this new web feature.

Q. Can I vote more than one time in the MDJ Opinion Poll?

A. No. Only one vote per computer will be allowed.

Q. What time will E-edition be available each day?

A. By 6 a.m.

Q. Will Around Town be posted under the editorial or columnist tab?

A. Around Town will be posted under the editorial tab every Tuesday and Saturday.

Can't get the E-edition in focus well enough to read it, so will obviously not be subscribing. It was really easy to read before, and I read some sections just about every day. Too bad you had to screw it up.
