MARIETTA - Cobb Police have arrested three Marietta men who authorities say are connected to a string of armed robberies in the county.

Joshua Tyler Hendricks, 25, John R. Pfeifer, 26, and Justin Clark, 30, are being held in Cobb County Jail without bond, Officer Joe Hernandez said.

Hendricks was arrested Tuesday by the police department's VIPER unit moments after Pizza Hut at 2650 Dallas Highway was robbed. Employees gave police a description of the robber and the getaway car, which authorities said matched Hendricks and the vehicle he was driving when he was pulled over. Police found a handgun in the car, Hernandez said.

Investigators said they were able to connect Hendricks, Pfeifer and Clark to a bank robbery last week. Police said three men brandishing handguns entered the Bank of America branch at 1800 Macland Road on Aug. 5 and ordered everyone to get on the ground. The trio made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Hernandez said.

Police said Pfeifer and Clark also robbed the Flagstar Bank branch at 2667 Dallas Highway in late July. The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, Hernandez said.

All three men are charged with two counts each of armed robbery. Hernandez said the investigation into the men's connection to other robberies is ongoing.

Bank officials could not comment on their protocol in an armed robbery situation.

Lock them ALL up...and throw away the key! Too many are "repeaters," who will continue to commit crimes on the innocent. Enough already.
