Olivia Mould was clutch at the plate and in the circle in North Cobb’s Region 4AAAAAA win over Harrison on Thursday, in which the Lady Warriors rallied from three runs down to win 4-3 in nine innings.

Mould was 2-for-4 with an RBI triple in the sixth inning to bring North Cobb within one run. She also pitched a complete game, giving up three unearned runs on seven hits, and she got herself out of a jam in the top of the ninth by stranding a runner on third.

Position: Pitcher

Year: Senior

Strengths: The breaking ball and putting balls in the corner; also a contact hitter who can put ball in play and find gaps.

She’s working on: Increasing the speed of her pitches, and power with her hitting

College: Committed to NYU

What she likes about her sport: Playing with the team and having to work together to win games

Her favorite softball memory: At a national tournament over the summer, she got up to bat with two outs and two strikes and hit a home run to put her team ahead

Favorite thing to drink: Lemonade

She describes herself as: Caring toward others, a dedicated student and dependable

Furthest she’s been away from home: California

Favorite athlete: Jennie Finch

Non-athletic talent: She can play the violin

Favorite movie: Pitch Perfect

Not many know that: She can surf.
