Community and Southern Bank, which has a Marietta and Cumberland area location, announced they are teaming up with Georgia’s food banks to collect donations this September during Hunger Action Month, organized by the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks.

Through Sept. 30, CSB is donating $5 to a nearby food bank when a new checking account is opened. Each CSB location will also be a canned food drop-off site until Sept. 30.

“CSB has deep roots in each community we serve, and we are thankful to give back to those communities,” said Mark Abernathy, president of CSB. “During Hunger Action Month, CSB is honored to help food banks, while continuing our dedication to superior banking.”
