With significant experience in the areas of federal tax credits and incentives related to research and development; energy including solar, wind, biomass investments; and real estate and the domestic production activities deduction, Pashley will be working with a wide variety of businesses in the manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government contracting and technology sectors. His responsibilities will also include advising clients on excise tax minimization strategies and tangible personal property regulations implementation.
He is a recognized subject matter expert on federal tax issues and opportunities for businesses. He has authored more than 100 articles and whitepapers appearing in a variety of publications and regularly presents regarding federal tax topics. His notable thought leadership contributions include a three-part series providing guidance regarding the medical device excise tax, an article “Bringing Clarity to Fuel Excise Taxes and Credits” in the April 2014 issue of The Tax Advisor and contributing toward a four-part series on final tangible property regulations.

Pashley began his public accounting career with a Big Four firm and spent the last four years with a national firm, where he served as a member of the firm’s Washington National Tax Services group.
A graduate of Augusta State University with a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration, Pashley is a certified public accountant and also holds a Master of Laws and Juris Doctor degree. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In his new position, Tingle will be focused on matching the needs of manufacturers, distributors, supply chain and logistics entities, their owners and investors with Decosimo’s full range of industry-specific audit, tax and advisory solutions. He will serve as Decosimo’s active member representative with Manufacture Alabama, Georgia Association of Manufacturing, Ohio Manufacturers Association and Tennessee Association of Manufacturers.
Prior to joining Decosimo, Tingle served the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce for more than five years in business development and contact management positions. His work at the Chamber supported the economic development and membership recruitment initiatives of the organization. During his tenure at the Chamber, the organization set records for membership growth.
In addition to his experience with the Chamber, he has been actively involved in leadership capacities with a number of Chattanooga-based organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Chattanooga Film Festival, RiverRocks and ArtsBuild. A graduate of Leadership Chattanooga, he co-founded and chairs the annual Chattanooga Corporate Dodgeball Tournament on behalf of the Cherokee Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Graduating summa cum laude from Southern Adventist University, Tingle’s early career was highlighted by travels to worldwide destinations including Ireland, Egypt, Botswana and Czech Republic. His interest in working internationally was inspired in part after serving during college as a student volunteer for the World Food Programme in Zambia, Africa.
