The West Cobb Senior Center, 4915 Dallas Highway in Powder Springs, will have a pickleball demonstration for seniors ages 55-plus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Pickleball is sweeping the nation by storm. Participants can learn, play and be part of the action as the Lost Mountain Tennis Center offers their newly lined courts to the center for this demonstration. Participants can get instruction and information from two of Paulding County’s own pickleball experts. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Equipment will be provided.

The event is free, but registration is required. Call (770) 528-8200.
