The newly remodeled Copeland’s of New Orleans, 3101 Cobb Parkway in the Cumberland area, will be revealed at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce.

The New Orleans-themed renovation has revamped the restaurant, both inside and out, and shows the Atlanta franchise’s commitment to the economic development of Cobb County and the Copeland’s of New Orleans brand in Atlanta. During the event, the restaurant will also present a check to CURE Childhood Cancer, one of Copeland’s community partners for the past five years.

“The building design provides a much better connection to our New Orleans food and hospitality,” said Bill Goudey, CEO of Copeland’s-Atlanta franchise. “We thrive on being a part of Cobb County, which has an ever-growing community of cultural and sports venues, such as the Cobb Energy Centre and the Atlanta Braves. I would like to thank the public for supporting us for the past 16 years and I look forward to the future of Copeland’s in the Cumberland-Vinings area.”

The new design features a newly remodeled lounge with a lighter more open area. The interior features a fresh color scheme, new brick walls, lanterns, shutters, private dining areas and other distinct New Orleans architectural styles. Guests will also be welcomed by a renovated hostess area and fresh cheesecake bakery.

“This is an exciting time for Copeland’s of New Orleans in Atlanta as we unveil these renovations,” said Glen Helmstetter, managing partner. “We take pride in our fresh-from-scratch New Orleans flavors and we are committed to serving our guests with genuine New Orleans hospitality. We have been proudly operating in Cumberland-Vinings for 16 years and our loyal guests deserve this remodel. With this remodel and Grand Reveal, we want to give back to the community and grow with the Cumberland-Vinings area.”

The restaurant is open Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The New Orleans live jazz Sunday brunch buffet is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.

Copeland’s also has a Kennesaw location at 142 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway.
