Clarity and precision are two qualities we pride ourselves on at the Georgia Public Policy Foundation, so I feel it important to clarify my quote in Saturday’s edition with regard to an Atlanta Regional Commission Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) grant to Kennesaw.

Whether I misspoke or was only partially quoted in my response to the reporter on ARC’s LCI grants, I must reinforce that we believe the ARC does commendable and necessary work on many transportation issues in the metro area. The fact that we have our doubts when it comes to the LCI in no way diminishes our respect for the ARC and its leadership through the metro area’s elected representatives on the body.
