The City of Kennesaw is hosting its third-annual Worldwide Day of Play event Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon at Swift-Cantrell Park, 3140 Old 41 Highway in Kennesaw.

The free celebration of all things active will include playground games, relay challenges and “old-school” yard favorites such as hopscotch and four square. All ages are welcome.

Worldwide Day of Play is being held in support of an international pro-health initiative led by the Nickelodeon television network, which aims to get kids to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

For more information, call Kennesaw Parks & Recreation at (770) 422-9714 or visit kennesaw-ga.gov.
