Shiloh Hills to celebrate pastor’s 25th anniversary

Shiloh Hills Baptist Church in Kennesaw will celebrate Dr. Victor R. Bledsoe’s 25th anniversary at the church at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Certificates will be presented to Bledsoe by Kennesaw Mayor Mark Mathews and Cobb County Commissioner Jo Ann Birrell.

Bledsoe was accepted as senior pastor in 1989 at the church, which was founded in 1970 and is located on 28 acres of land. He is also president of the Shiloh Hills Christian School, an accredited K-3 through Grade 12 school.

As senior pastor of the church, Dr. Bledsoe ministers to the community through MUST Ministries, LifeSouth Blood, LifeLine Screening and WellStar Health Centers. He has developed and taught leadership training and staff development classes for churches and schools, is an assistant instructor for the Dale Carnegie Atlanta area and serves on the Board of Directors for Happy Acres Mission Transit Center in Woodstock.

Bledsoe with his wife, Kay, reside in Woodstock. They have three adult, married sons and five grandchildren in the area.

A reception and other activities will also be held in the Family Life Center during the 6:30 p.m. service.

The church is at 75 Hawkins Store Road in Kennesaw.
