New role suggested for Lee

DEAR EDITOR:

If and when Tim Lee decides not to run again for Commission chairman or is voted out of office, the Board of Commissioners should create a special lifetime position for him, that of chairman emeritus. It would be a mandatory non-paying, non-voting job and he would be forced to answer and respond to all of the complaints and compliments sent to the board by all angry, disgusted and happy taxpayers of the county.

He would then be a buffer between the board and the citizens when the Braves boondoggle, the SPLOST fiascoes and other government waste are fully realized in this area.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time?

I agree with Peanut Whinning who you gonna blame when that first pitch is thrown out and the Braves prove to be a good thing for Cobb County or who you gonna give the credit to. . .

Once the stadium is in place and a success he will likely be the next governor while you will be here whining that the Braves charge too much for peanuts. Get over it, the Braves are coming and a vast majority of Cobb voters support Lee's bringing them to Cobb.

With any luck, Lee will be in prison before the first pitch is thrown out at the new Brave's Stadium.

The people of Cobb County who want this debacle remind me of the little boy who chased the tiger until it caught him.
