Community & Southern Bank announced the Community and Southern Bank Foundation’s annual Southern Cup Golf Tournament generated $24,000 in donations. The CSB Foundation, a nonprofit organization, provides funding for many charitable organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Winder and the Haralson Public Library, throughout Georgia.

More than 112 CSB bank employees, vendors, customers, clients and sponsors participated in teams of four in the friendly competition held at BridgeMill Athletic Club. The generosity of local businesses and the community allowed this year’s tournament to host a record number of participants while collecting the greatest amount of donations to date.

“Those of us at CSB would like to extend our greatest thanks and appreciation to everyone who participated in our annual golf tournament fundraiser,” said Pat Frawely, CEO. “The generosity of our community has made it possible for our foundation to continue to provide financial and volunteer support to art, civic, educational, health care and youth organizations throughout our community.”

Community & Southern Bank is one of Georgia’s most well capitalized banks. CSB operates 40 branches in metro Atlanta and across Georgia’s northern, eastern and western counties and has more than $3.1 billion in assets.
