Marietta-based eVestment completed its spring/summer fitness challenge Aug. 8 with an awards ceremony at the company’s headquarters. The winning team, Thin It To Win It, had a total weight loss of 75.2 pounds.

This is the fifth company-wide fitness challenge eVestment has held. The twice-a-year challenges have become part of the eVestment culture and include individual and group workouts, advice on healthy eating and fitness habits and company sponsored prizes at the finale.

About 100 eVestment employees participated in the spring/summer challenge, split up into 10 teams. Points — or “Fit Chips” — were awarded for completed workouts and team members and the company tracked results with every other week weigh-ins. Overall, during the course of the three month challenge, participants lost a total of 463 pounds and saw a 6.19-percent improvement in body fat.
