MARIETTA — A center aimed at helping Marietta teens graduate is having an open house today at 4:30 p.m.
Graduation Achievement Centers of Georgia are tuition-free programs open to students ages 14 to 20 who have left school or are considering leaving school but want to earn a high school diploma.
The Marietta center is at 252-B Lemon St. in Marietta, and offers both morning and afternoon sessions.
Classes are a blend of online learning and one-on-one and small group instruction. The center is staffed with Georgia-certified teachers, counselors and other professionals who work together to provide academic support and post-graduation assistance for students, including those with learning disabilities.
