ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves announced Thursday they have created a fan advisory board to give fans and local representatives the chance to give the organization their input on the new Cobb County stadium.

“From day one, our focus has been on giving our fans the best possible sports and entertainment experience,” Atlanta Braves Executive Vice President Derek Schiller said in a release. “Through cooperation, teamwork and mutual understanding, the Atlanta Braves Fan Advisory Board will help guide us on that mission.”

The board has 20 members and will be led by Ken Bernhardt, a Regents Professor of Marketing Emeritus for Georgia State University. The rest of the board is made up of Braves season ticket holders, representatives from the team’s corporate sponsors and community leaders from Atlanta and Cobb County.

The board plans to meet three to five times per year, with the first meeting scheduled for late summer.
