Windsong Properties, which builds the Bel-Aire community in Powder Springs, announced the 10th anniversary of veteran employee, Carrie Roeger, who serves as the operations manager for the active adult home builder. Roeger is responsible for managing process improvement and coordinating work flow from sales through construction to warranty.

“Carrie is an outstanding employee and friend that goes above and beyond each day,” said Steve Romeyn, co-founder of Windsong Properties. “She has a deep understanding of our mission and the active adult market. Carrie is committed to our team and customers, and it has been a pleasure to work beside her as we expand the company.”

After spending five years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, Roeger earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She then worked as a production assistant for a government contractor that built base housing and was a builder assistant for the interiors division of Choate Construction before joining Windsong.

She began as the company’s purchasing manager and helped with purchasing, vendor relations, contracts, estimating, quality control and accounting. After five years, she became Windsong’s marketing manager and was promoted to operations manager last year.
