A Marietta man was shot outside of an apartment complex near Cumberland Square North Shopping Center, Smyrna police said.

Cornell Sullivan, 21, was shot outside at Wyndcliff Galleria apartments off Cobb Parkway on Saturday at about 11 p.m., said Officer Christopher Graeff, a Smyrna police spokesman. He was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital, police said.

Police do not have any information about the suspect, Graeff said, but they believe the suspect and the victim did not know each other.

Police are still investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made.
