A wastewater manhole overflow, resulting in an estimated 240 gallons discharged into Rottenwood Creek, occurred at 9:23 a.m. on July 18 at 1216 Timberland Road in Marietta.

The overflow, which was the result of grease, was stopped at 10 a.m. Water system workers flushed the 8-inch sewer main to clear the blockage and limed the spill area.

Lovin' the weekly sewer over flow reports.

Still waiting to see what it is leading to.
