Letter-writer wrong on Kingston

DEAR EDITOR:

A recent letter writer seems to support pro-business candidates, but then rejects the endorsement in the U.S. Senate race by the nation’s leading business advocacy group (“Give Perdue a chance to put Congress on diet,” Wayne Beyea, July 15). The U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorses candidates who reliably support free-market principles and who are in the best position to parlay that support into policies that promote job growth.

Key business leaders in our community are lining-up behind Jack Kingston because he has been a reliable conservative whose record shows he puts those principles first. Jack opposed the job-killing Obamacare law from the beginning. Jack knows the federal government cannot solve our problems and we must rollback federal intervention. The Chamber endorsed Jack so that its members can stop worrying about Washington and start thinking about hiring.

I back Jack for the same reasons.

Fake Numbers

Kamrad K-Fo,

Just as the classic liberal you are, you have resorted to name calling, a clear indication you have lost the argument. The numbers you quote are pure fantasy, then you attach a government source to make them look legit. You fool the low information voters but not the rest of us.

The continual "job creation" we hear coming from King Ombama is nothing but the classic left wing tactic of repeating the lie over and over, hoping it will become accepted as the truth.

The only jobs created by King Obama are government jobs, which place additional strain on the economy, on top of the job killing economy wrecking nightmare called Obamacare.

Kamrad K-Fo, we know you are a zealot for the left, so that explains why you live in la-la land, drinking the liberal progressive Kool Aid. As for the rest of us, we deal in substance and facts.

As usual, Kamrad K-Fo is telling half truths and leaving out the facts. The "jobs" which Kamrad K-Fo claims were created are all government jobs, funded by taxpayer dollars, meaning these so called "jobs" are nothing but a further drain on the economic disaster created by Obamacare.

You are so monumentality stupid, I don't blame you for staying anonymous. What's really pathetic is an imbecile like you is allowed to vote.

"Over all — including a decline of 12,000 public sector jobs in the Labor Department report for December — government employment is down 2.6 percent over the last three years, compared to a decline of 2.2 percent in the early Reagan years. That is a record."

Obamacare didn't "kill" jobs. That's a Koch brothers/Club for Growth/Freedomworks lie.

The economy added nearly 300,000 jobs and 1.4 million jobs since Obamacare was fully implemented Jan. 1. All of the jobs lost under Bush and then some have been recovered.

What kills jobs are the extremist economic policies Kingston advocates. Want proof? Look at Bush's 8 years. Want to have another mega recession? Vote for guys like Kingston.
