Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education expo to highlight programs

Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education will host a free Career Training Expo at the KSU Center on July 31 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The Expo will feature more than 50 professional certificate programs, allowing attendees to meet instructors and recent graduates at the information sessions. Additionally, the main session will provide further insight into KSU’s offerings with program representatives available to field questions.

Master career coach John Long will return to lead sessions on interviewing and personal branding. All attendees will receive a five percent discount coupon valid through Sept. 3. A student gift pack will also be given for on-site course enrollments, and participants can enter to win an iPad mini.

Highlighted programs include Administrative Professional, Basic Office Technology, Culinary Apprenticeship, Information Systems Security, Medical Assisting, Languages, Paralegal, PayTrain, Project Management, Real Estate Property Management, Social Media Marketing and Web Design.

Financial aid advisers will provide counsel on payment plans, VA Education Benefits and Workforce Investment Act. Scholarships are also available for select programs. Registration is encouraged and available by calling (770) 423-6765 or visiting
