Reform Jewish Congregation Ner Tamid announced it is moving into its first permanent location, 1349 Old Highway 41, Suite 220 in Marietta, in the Kennesaw Mountain Business Park, just east of the Kennesaw Mountain Visitor Center. There will be an open house from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 10 at the location. Participants can learn about the congregation, the religious school and the upcoming High Holy Day services.

The west Cobb area synagogue and religious school, formed in May 2006, held past services and gatherings in different locations, including Christ Lutheran Church on West Sandtown Road and religious school at Mountain View Prep in Acworth. The congregation is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). Its weekly religious school, which begins on Aug. 17 and offers classes for pre-K to grade 12, recently adopted the Institute of Southern Jewish Life curriculum.
