The Senior Wellness Center, 1150 Powder Springs St. in Marietta, will have two programs today for seniors ages 55 and up.

Participants can learn how to talk with loved ones about final health care decisions in Advanced Directives: Critical Conditions from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Each participant will also receive a free planning guide, which outlines questions that should be discussed, along with forms that they can use to record their wishes.

Cindee Sweda from the Cobb/UGA Cooperative Extension Services will present Demystifying Vitamins and Supplements from 11 a.m. to noon. The discussion will focus on the role of vitamins in maintaining health, normal bodily functions and metabolic processes, as well as the effect of vitamin deficiency and the dietary sources of various vitamins.

Both events are free, but registration is required.
