Kennesaw to have public meetings on SPLOST, Dallas-Watts project

The City of Kennesaw will have two public meetings in the next two weeks at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive in Kennesaw.

A public information meeting to review and discuss the proposed 2016 SPLOST project list will be July 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. The proposed project list includes projects related to recreation, transportation and development.

Attendees will be able to drop in anytime within the two hour meeting to view the projects, ask questions and give feedback on the proposed project list.

A public meeting to review and discuss the Dallas-Watts project and Lewis Street partial closing will be July 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The proposed project is a $20 million mixed-use development consisting of 178 apartments located within 24 free-standing buildings and 12,000-square feet of commercial space.
