Sewer overflow reported in Marietta

The Cobb County Water System reported a sewer overflow occurred in the county on Tuesday.

A wastewater manhole overflow, resulting in about 100 gallons discharged into Olley Creek, occurred at 10:56 p.m. at 410 Winston Road in Marietta. The overflow, which was listed as the result of grease, was stopped at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday.

In today's sickening "PC" world, I'm amazed that sewage isn't referred to as "unwanted personal surplus".
