Clarence C. Rohner, 93, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014.  He was born in Marietta, GA on January 2, 1921. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Maple Avenue Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Moore officiating.  Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Clarence was a WWII Veteran and was retired from the Atlanta Coca Cola Bottling Company after 43 years of service.  He was a long time member of Maple Avenue Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Survivors include one son, Mike Rohner (Bonnie) of Jasper, one daughter, Phyllis Allen (Mike) of Marietta; one sister, Martha Ann Davis and two brothers, Bill and Charles; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Greenwood Place Assisted Living Facility, Crossroads Hospice, Signature Healthcare, and Brightstar for the outstanding care of their father. Contributions may be made to Maple Avenue Methodist Church, 63 Maple Avenue, Marietta, GA  30060; The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 2256, Marietta, GA  30061; Calvary Children’s Home, 1430 Lost Mountain Road, Powder Springs, GA  30127. Family will receive friends 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. 770-428-1511
