The “Night Fever” of the 1970s disco era meets the “British Rock Invasion” of the 1960s when Stayin’ Alive and Satisfaction take the stage on Thursday at the City of Kennesaw’s Salute to America, a pre-Independence Day celebration of freedom, music and fireworks. The free event is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. in downtown Kennesaw.

Stayin’ Alive is the ultimate Bee Gees tribute — from their distinctive high falsetto voices to their flash and glitter, platform shoes and polyester threads. The concert stage will be in front of the Kennesaw Depot, 2828 Cherokee St.
