Charges against Loudermilk are without merit

First of all a disclosure: I am a fervent supporter of 11th District congressional candidate Barry Loudermilk and my son volunteered for a few days at the campaign headquarters. When I read the initial accusation by Bill Stanley, which included the quotes he claimed implied Loudermilk’s misrepresenting of his service record, I couldn’t see any wording that seemed to imply what Mr. Stanley was wanting to infer. While Barry may be overstating the idea that his experience as an aviator gives him special insight into the necessity of Lockheed, I can’t believe anyone reading all of the statements attributed to Loudermilk would hear him claim that of which he is being accused.

With regard to the new accusations by Mr. Mrozinski, they also appear to be unfounded and seem to reflect more sour grapes than reality.

Having heard Barry speak of his life journey, I came away impressed by his integrity and experience. Unlike those accusing Barry of exaggeration, I had a very good understanding of his military record and did not question exactly what he did and didn’t do. Perhaps this was because I was already predisposed to support Loudermilk. On the other hand, perhaps it was because I actually listened to what was being said without trying to read something nefarious into it.

I trust those who have read reports of the accusations will come to the same conclusion that I have and see that the charges are without merit.

Brings to mind a story when I was pushing boots (For you civilians, that's recruits).

Seems each company always had one or two kids who would go over to the PX after graduation and purchase five or six ribbons to decorate their uniform with and impress the girlfriend back home. Fairly innocent, just that these kids did not realize just how wrong it was to do this.

OTOH, who can forget our very own Cobb county Public Safety Director Mickey Lloyd, the fake Navy SEAL, with the fraudulent Silver Star and the fake bachelor's degree? Nothing innocent there. Knowing the right people saved him from prosecution under The Stolen Valor Act.

Hey Tom, Your line of reasoning is exactly how our nation ended up with the current occupant of the White House. Americans heard Obama and thought, wow, he's a nice guy, I think I will vote for him.

What do you base your "understanding" of Loudermilks's military record on? This is why veterans are calling Loudermilk out on his embellishing his military record. Without a military background, his skillful embellishment of his military record is difficult to discern.

Do you understand the difference between the self-serving "Military Resume" that the Loudermilk campaign released and his DD214?

"Exactly how our nation ended up the current occupant of the White House"

Stock Market is off the Charts

Unemployment is downn to 6%

Iraq withdrawal is complete.

Osama Bin Laden is Dead!

Republicans are reaping the benefits of Obamacare

.....and so on and so forth

This is after all the republicans could do to obstruct every thing the POTUS could do. Now they want to sue him for changing the course that W. was taking "our nation."
